Journey of My Life

Summary:
I am a software developer at Strata Decision Technology and I was a web developer intern at ImageTrend Inc., Lakeville, MN. I was a  Learning assistant, Technology Learning and Media Center (TLMC) of Student Technology Services (STS) and pursuing Software Engineering Masters degree from North Dakota State University. I have worked at BTD Manufacturing Inc., Detroit Lakes, MN as a summer intern 2010. I am the co-founder and Managing Director of ECLECTIC, a promising consultancy and trading company in Bangladesh. I have an excellent experience to work in the dynamic team of Swisscontact-Katalyst as a Business Consultant. In Fall 2010, I was selected as Masters of Success team for a very prestigious leadership program at NDSU and Spring 2010, I was also selected in Equity and Diversity Ambassador, Kick-off Leader, Kujenga and many other leadership role at NDSU. I completed my Bachelor degree from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET) as a top student.

Software Developer, Nielsen:

From August 2012, I have started my career as a Software Developer at Nielsen, Chicago IL. My responsibility includes develop end to end web application concentrating on client side by using JQuery, CSS, Knockout, Fusion Charts, etc. Web application development ASP.NET, C#, .NET, Javascript, MS SQL, Visual Studio, etc. Develop and maintain web based Market Analytics software in an Agile Development Environment.

Software Developer, Strata Decision Technology:

From February 2012, I have started my career as a Software Developer at Strata Decision Technology, Chicago IL. I am very excited to be work with a talented development team. My responsibilities includes developing planning and decision making software for thousands of hospitals in the USA.

 

Web Developer Intern, ImageTrend Inc.:
Summer 2011 was full of fun with learning, developing software, solving some challenging problem at ImageTrend Inc, Lakeville, MN. In this organization, I have gained significant experience while developing software in HTML, ColdFusion, MS SQL, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, for Emergency Data Management Systems (EMS) used by 30 states in the USA.

Learning Assistant, Technology Learning and Media Center (TLMC):
From December 2010 to February 2012, I was a Learning Assistant of a fantastic team at TLMC of Information Technology Services (ITS) of NDSU. My role and responsibility included helping student in their programming projects, class projects, developing their media projects. I love my work at TLMC it helps me to learn while helping others to solve their problem and I always enjoy serving others. In February 2012, I was awarded as the Employee of the month of the Student Technology Services (STS).  I am very glad to the team for a remarkable farewell. I was awarded as employee of month. 

 

  

Summer Internship, BTD Manufacturing Inc.:
During summer 2010, I was working as an intern at BTD Manufacturing Inc, Detroit Lakes, MN. This organization is a recognized supplier of automobile, snowmobile and truck parts. My task was to improve the system of shop floor interaction.

MS in Software Engineering:
I started my MS in Software Engineering at North Dakota State University, spring 2010. My research area is Web Security and data base security. In the following picture, I am at my office at NDSU.

ECLECTIC:
When I was a third year student  with two of my friends (Md. Asif Sarwar and Md. Moniruzzaman) and I came up with a great idea for establishing a consultancy firm which will serve all technical and managerial problems. Our motto was, "One team, all solutions". This was a great success, because traditional technical service providers and management experts fail due to lack of coherence for execution. In ECLECTIC, we have an excellent track record of conducting workshops, developing techniques and methods, trainings, etc. In the following picture I am conducting a workshop for improving machine and low cost operation for micro industries, organized by BEMMA.

BS, Engineering:
I went to the best school for engineering in Bangladesh, Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET). I was involved with a lot of class projects and industrial tours. I was the General Secretary of the student Association, and before that I was the Publication Secretary. I was on the Deans' List 4 times and also given the Merit Scholarship 6 times. In the following picture, I am discussing a class projects with fellow Industrial Engineering students.
                

Project D Youth:
Project D Youth is a nationally recognized business competition organized by the biggest telecom company in Bangladesh, GrameenPhone Ltd. It started with innovative business ideas with different real world challenges for fund rising, making business decisions, running factories, conducting social events, caring orphans, organizing national events, etc. My team was hard working with the right purpose in mind. I was really happy to be the champion and to be in all the newspapers and TV channels. In the following picture I am receiving the champion trophy and check from Geeti Ara Chowdhury, Advisor, Government of Bangladesh.
